About

There are many ways that one human tries to connect with others in this life.  A major part of my life’s communication is through the images that I create.  I photograph both for personal satisfaction and for profit.  When I get to do both at the same time I’m truly happy.

This blog is for those images that I create that are not taken with any idea of making a profit from but rather as a purely creative outlet.  Photography is a lot like playing the guitar it takes several hours to learn to play “Mary Had a Little Lamb” and a lifetime to learn to express yourself like Eric Clapton.  The only way a photographer can make the camera an extension of themselves is by lots and lots of practice.

On the studio side we are totally digital.  Most of the images you’ll see on this blog were captured on film.  I mention this not because film is better but it is a different way to capture images and it takes a different thought process.

Thank you for taking a look at the images because a big reason not to just keep the image in your mind is because you have someone to share it with.
