Dickerson’s Fairlawn Mall Topeka
Dickerson’s has been a fixture in the Topeka Fairlawn Mall for many years now. Dickerson’s was started by Kris and her father Jack. Dickerson’s is truly unique in Topeka in that the store is laid out into “compartments of interest”. The store is not all that large but because of the innovative and imaginative ways that Kris lays out the merchandise you truly feel like you are, at times, in a magical hidden store within her store.
Everyone will find something at Dickerson’s that will brighten you or a friends day. She is known to scour the trade shows, that she attends, to find unique items that you won’t find anywhere else and you had better check back often not to miss anything! She has everything from candles to tutus; antiques to scarves!
Kris’ mom works with her a lot and helps her with clerical activities. Her mom though is a bit camera shy! Maybe the next time I’m in I’ll get to capture an image of Kris with her mom!
